Cathie Jacobs, Office Manager
Cathie joined Team Leatherman in 1994, but she got her start in dentistry back in 1966. She has a wonderful husband, Bill, who is enjoying retirement and two sons, Michael who lives in Phoenix, and Matthew who is married to Chrissy. Together they have three beautiful children Alex, Austin, and Hayley.

Cathie is an avid fan of Ohio State Football- GO BUCKS! She also enjoys golfing and attending her grandchildren’s various sports events.

Cathie is happy to keep up with all the latest in dentistry and appreciates TLC’s team winning attitude!

Kathi Galant, Dental Assistant
Kathi has always had an interest in dentistry, and she decided to gain a deeper understanding of the subject at Lorain County Community College. In 1989, shortly after graduating, she answered an ad to work for Dr. Leatherman. He trained her as a dental assistant, and over 20 years later they are still working together side by side.

Over the years Kathi has developed a great appreciation for helping her patients have the healthiest smiles possible. Through continuing education courses and specialized CEREC training, Kathi knows how to offer the very best in dentistry.

Stephanie McCale, EFDA
Stephanie has been in the dental field since 1995. She graduated from Vermilion High School in 1993, attended Tri-C, and graduated in 1995 as a certified dental assistant. She decided to further her career in the dental field and went back to school in 2000 at Case Western Reserve University. Stephanie received her Expanded Function Dental Certificate (EFDA) in 2001.

Having two children keeps her on the go. They enjoy summertime trips together to Cedar Point. She loves her job and looks forward to helping her patients achieve their best smile yet!

Leigh Ann Faight, Registered Dental Hygienist
Leigh Ann earned an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene, May 2006 and became a registered dental hygienist (RDH). She is among a small percentage of Ohio dental hygienists licensed to administer local anesthesia. Her position with Team Leatherman Care is one of her most valued professional accomplishments!

In addition to her "dental" family, Leigh Ann and her husband Scot have two fantastic children that keep them moving! During a recent dental mission trip to Haiti, Leigh Ann realized the importance of offering education and healthcare to communities in need. She continues her volunteer efforts with different organizations.

Nicole Minnick, Registered Dental Hygienist
Nicole is a Register Dental Hygienist (RDH) and graduated from Lorain County Community College in May 2007. She is a proud member of Team Leatherman Care and continually strives to increase her knowledge on improving our patient’s oral health. She enjoys being a part of a team that is committed to providing the best care possible for their patients. Nicole’s most valued characteristic of Team Leatherman is the strong sense of family and togetherness. TLC is a family and we like to treat you like family!

Nicole is the mother of two and likes spending her free time with family and friends. She has an active social life enjoying sporting events, concerts, traveling, and an occasional pasta Saturday with her family.

Jean Worden, Office Manager
Jean has been very happy to be part of “Team Leatherman” since 2006. While doing some “fill-in” work for longtime friend Cathie Jacobs, she was pleased to become a part of Dr. Leatherman’s staff.

Jean has been in the dental field for 44 years, working both as an assistant and an office manager. She started her dental career at Ohio State University in their dental school.

Jean is married to Dirk, and they will soon celebrate 42 years together. They have three daughters, Carrie, Any, and Karli and are blessed with two beautiful grandchildren and two great sons-in-law.

In her spare time Jean enjoys walking, jogging, and any type of physical activity. She loves the Ohio State Football Season – it is all about “GO BUCKS!”
 

Debbie Gillies, Scheduling Coordinator
Debbie is pleased to a part of Team Leatherman Care in her position as Patient Scheduling Coordinator. She brings with her over 20 years of dental management experience and her willingness to help you find perfect time for creating a perfect smile!

Debbie and her husband Bill are avid boaters and spend their summer together on the waters of Lake Erie and Put-in-Bay. They have two sons they are very proud of. Bryan, who works in Put-in-Bay during the summer months and is working towards his degree at University of Toledo and Ben who attends Ohio University and plays defense for the OU Bobcats hockey team.
